The Magic Pop is a really versatile lure. It attracts many species of all sizes from trevallies to seabass to tarpon to roosterfish. As a middle sized lure it is easy to cast and to work. You can use it at very slow speed with the tip of the rod down for tarpon or with short jerks to make noisy pops or under long pulls to leave a large bubble trail. It's an all around popper that comes into place for shore fishing.
