You can use the Mister Tropic when predators are not keen to strike a surface lure ( overfished areas, cold waters...). Here fish will respond better to sub surface lures. The Mister Tropic can be fished just under the surface ( working with rod tip high) or deeper ( rod tip down). Note that this lure is slow sinking. If you wait a few seconds before retrieving it it will swim several meters down. Being quite heavy and slim it casts like a dream.
